Mrs. Amber Cooper - December Support Staff of the Month

Amber Cooper
Superintendent, Mr. Dustin Gehring, is pleased to announce that Mrs. Amber Cooper has been selected as December’s “Support Staff of the Month.”

Amber is the nurse at Brookville Elementary School. Although Mrs. Cooper has only worked at FCCSC for one year now, she has made a lasting impact on so many.

Mrs. Cooper attended Galen College of Nursing to become a Registered Nurse (RN). In addition to her career at BES, she is also an RN at Mercy West Emergency Room and an active member of the Blooming Grove Family Worship.

Amber was nominated for this honor by a staff member. When asked why Mrs. Cooper should be considered for this recognition, she responded, “She goes above and beyond in everything she does, always showing exceptional care and dedication. Nurse Amber treats both students and staff with kindness, compassion, and respect which creates a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone she interacts with. Her hard work and positive attitude make a meaningful difference every day, and she truly deserves to be recognized for all that she does to keep our school community healthy and happy.”

After caring for others, Amber enjoys spending her free time outdoors hunting and fishing, playing volleyball and softball, and watching her boys race dirtbikes and play football.

When asked what the best part of her job is, Mrs. Cooper responded, “Getting to see the smiling faces walking through the hallway. Knowing that the hugs, mints and bandaids can fix most of the problems.”

The purpose of the “Support Staff of the Month” program is to recognize outstanding Franklin County Community School Corporation Support Staff who demonstrate dedication to his/her job, school, students, and community.
