Ms. Lauren Stacy - January 2025 Support Staff of the Month

Lauren Stacy
Superintendent, Mr. Dustin Gehring, is happy to announce that Ms. Lauren Stacy has been selected as January’s “Support Staff of the Month.”

Lauren has been a paraprofessional at Laurel Elementary School for two years. A graduate of Franklin County High School, Lauren is currently attending Western Governors University to get her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.

Lauren was nominated for this honor by a staff member. When asked why Ms. Stacy should be considered for this recognition, she responded, “Lauren is an asset during WIN time and has stepped up to fill in for me when I am working on an internship. The students love her and are excited to see her. Lauren is just an awesome paraprofessional.”

In her free time, Lauren likes to read, spend time with family and friends, and watch tv.

When asked what the best part of her job is, Ms. Stacy responded, “The best part is building special relationships with each student and watching them grow…not only academically, but also watching them figure out who they want to be as people. This truly is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world!”

The purpose of the “Support Staff of the Month” program is to recognize outstanding Franklin County Community School Corporation Support Staff who demonstrate dedication to his/her job, school, students, and community.
