Director of Operations, Mr. Keith Isaacs, is pleased to announce that Mrs. Barb Rubush has been selected as May’s “Support Staff of the Month.”
Barb, a custodian at Brookville Elementary, has dedicated 26 years to making sure the school maintains a healthy and safe environment for both students and staff.
Mrs. Rubush was nominated for this honor by a staff member. When asked why Barb should be considered for this recognition, she responded, “Barb has been a loyal, dependable, hard-working employee for our school. She works hard at keeping it clean and stays on top of repairs that need to be taken care of. Barb works well with all staff. She takes over other responsibilities when we are short-handed and has been known to come in on the weekend to clean if another custodian is out. Mrs. Rubush takes pride in her work!”
Outside of work, Barb enjoys spending as much time with family as she can.
When asked what the best part of her job is, Mrs. Rubush stated, “Getting to work with an amazing staff and working with my daughter every day. I will miss everyone.”
The purpose of the “Support Staff of the Month” program is to recognize outstanding Franklin County Community School Corporation Support Staff who demonstrate dedication to his/her job, school, students, and community.
