Mrs. Helen Gillman - September 2024 Support Staff of the Month

Superintendent, Mr. Dustin Gehring, is thrilled to announce that Mrs. Helen Gillman has been selected as September’s “Support Staff of the Month.” Her second time being selected, Helen was also our Support Staff of the Month in December of 2022. 

Helen currently serves as the Head Secretary and Treasurer at Franklin County Middle School. 

Mrs. Gillman has dedicated 21 years to working with our students, staff, and community. 

Helen was nominated for this honor by an administrator. When asked why Mrs. Gillman should be considered for this recognition, they responded, “Helen consistently shows up for work every day, demonstrating conscientiousness and a strong attention to detail in her daily tasks. Her exceptional organizational skills ensure everything runs smoothly, and she proactively anticipates needs, enhancing the office’s productivity. She is also a team player and always ready to assist others.”

In addition to her secretarial role, Helen is also an active member of Saint Michael's Church where she helps with the festivals and her grandchildren. 

Outside of school, Helen and her husband spend a lot of time with their grandchildren. She also adores reading, having family gatherings, and traveling the world. 

When asked what the best part of her job is, Mrs. Gillman responded, “I enjoy being with students and seeing as they grow and mature. My coworkers are great and we all fit well together. Everyday is different.” 

The purpose of the “Support Staff of the Month” program is to recognize outstanding Franklin County Community School Corporation Support Staff who demonstrate dedication to his/her job, school, students, and community.
